Munters restores after plane crash Munters has received the assignment to help in the restoration of the Pirelli tower in Milano, Italy. On the 18th of April a tourist plane accidentally crashed into the tower damaging two floors of the building. Munters assignment has been to restore the premises, computers and data archives which were damaged by water from bursting pipes and activated sprinkler systems. Approximately 4 tons of documents were damaged and has been recovered with the help of Munters technique of drying and restoring documents. Munters developed a technique for water damage restoration 20 years ago and has been developing the technology ever since. With over 300 service depots in most of the states of USA and all major countries in Europe and several locations in Asia, Munters is the world leader in water as well as fire damage restoration.
