Juneart.io launches its second online NFT exhibition: Westbam Earthdixie, curated by Jared Madere
Launching on June 13 at June Art Fair, Basel, Westbam Earthdixie is the second online exhibition by NFT platform Juneart.io. Curated by American artist Jared Madere, the exhibition gathers 10 visual artists spanning various mediums and backgrounds, each presenting a series of NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Madere’s artwork will also be presented physically at the fair by Juneart.io.
Guided by a vague title coincidently referencing a legendary German DJ and an obscure TikTok fan account for American singer Dixie D'Amelio, Westbam Earthdixie attempts to oppose particular resolutions and occupy a space of relative ambiguity. This ambiguity is guided by the various subjective attitudes of the presented artists.
The exhibition proposes to investigate how these attitudes take form as artistic propositions or signs, and consequently how their meaning shifts and is transformed in various social, cultural, and historical contexts. Much like its title, Westbam Earthdixie behaves as an experiential springboard for the interpretive act itself.
Participating artists: Sam Anderson, Darja Bajagić, Jake Cruzen, Jared Madere, Joanne Robertson, Ben Schumacher, Alake Shilling, Jasper Spicero, Amalia Ulman, Wretched Worm.

About Juneart.io
Juneart.io is an initiative of June Art Fair aimed to give artists and collectors within the contemporary art scene the opportunity to explore NFTs in a space that is considered, curated and cared for. Throughout the year, Juneart.io hosts exclusive exhibitions concurrently with the world’s most prestigious art fairs and exhibitions like Art Basel, the Venice Biennale, Frieze London etc., curated by people they admire for their contributions.
Founded in 2019 by galleries VI, VII (Oslo) and Christian Andersen (Copenhagen), June Art Fair was conceived to re-imagine the conventional art fair viewing experience. June Art Fair has distinguished itself not only with its unconventional location but with its highly-selective, intergenerational group of participating galleries and artists. The physical fair takes place during Basel Art Week in close proximity to Art Basel and Liste Art Fair.
