MXenergy applauds PPL for high customer satisfaction

Stamford, CT – February 25, 2011 –  The results are in and PPL Electric has done it again.  J.D. Power and Associates has released its 2011 Electric Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Survey and for the ninth time in twelve years the Pennsylvania utility has ranked highest in customer satisfaction among large utilities in the eastern United States

The J.D. Power and Associates study uses a 1,000-point scale to rank companies on issues such as power quality and reliability, billing and payment, corporate citizenship, communications and customer service.

The award is the company’s 17th overall, more than any other utility in the country, since J.D. Power and Associates began studying customer satisfaction among electric utility customers.
