Communiqué from Annual General Meeting of Micronic Laser Systems AB (publ.) Taby, Sweden, March 25, 2004 -- Micronic Laser Systems AB (Stockholmsborsen's Attract 40: MICR), a leading manufacturer of laser pattern generation equipment for the worldwide semiconductor, display and electronic packaging industries, today disclosed the following decisions made at the Company's Annual General Meeting (AGM), held March 24: Appropriation of accumulated loss The AGM resolved in favor of the Board's and CEO´s proposal regarding appropriation of accumulated loss, which is that the accumulated loss be carried forward. Remuneration to the Board of Directors The AGM decided that the Board of Directors' remuneration, totalling 1,275,000 SEK, be distributed between the directors according to the Board's own decision. Election of Board members The AGM re-elected Hans Fletcher, Sven Lofquist, Goran Malm, Christer Zetterberg and Lars Ojefors and elected Jorgen Centerman, Lars Nyberg and Lena Torell as new members of the Board until the end of the next AGM. Remuneration committee and auditing committee The AGM assigned the Board of Directors to appoint a remuneration committee and auditing committee. Nomination committee The AGM decided to appoint a nomination committee representing the four major shareholders at the end of 2004. The representatives will be announced as soon as they have been appointed.
