Micronic Laser Systems nomination committee for AGM 2010 has been changed

Täby, Sweden, October 23, 2009 - Micronic Laser Systems AB (listed on the
NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm, in the category Small cap, Information
Technology: MICR). In accordance with previous decision at Micronic´s annual
general meeting 2009 a nomination committee consisting of, at the end of
August, the four largest shareholders and the chairman of the board should be
appointed. The nomination committee shall for the AGM 2010 propose members and
chairman of the board and remuneration to the board members and auditors.

Catella has since August reduced its ownership in Micronic and is withdrawing
its right to nominate member to the nomination committee. The chairman of the
nomination committee has contacted Pharos Invest AS, who is the next
shareholder in size.

After the change the Nomination committee consists of:

Annika Andersson, Fjärde AP-fonden
Kerstin Stenberg, Swedbank Robur
Peter Edwall, Pharos Invest AS
Rune Glavare, Chairman of the board

Next AGM will take place on April 12, 2010.
