Täby, Sweden – 11 November, 2013 Micronic Mydata AB (publ), listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, Small Cap: MICR, launches the new MY200 series pick-and-place equipment. The introduction takes place at the international trade fair for innovative electronics production Productronica, in Munich during 12-15 November.

“The introduction of the MY200 series is a result of our increased focus on product development within business area SMT, as previously communicated,”, said Lena Olving, president and CEO of Micronic Mydata AB. “It is a pleasure to be able to offer systems that give our customers higher throughput, higher accuracy and improved line utilization.”

The increasingly varied and complex electronic content in cars, phones, tablets and other electronic devices is driving a need to mount diverse components on PCBs with uncompromising accuracy – at high speed. It is also adding to the pressure on electronic manufacturers to handle shorter batch sizes and unpredictable delivery schedules. To solve these challenges Micronic Mydata is introducing the MY200 performance series, a new improved range of surface mount machines.
