Micronic Mydata receives order for a mask writer Sigma7700 from an Asian customer

Täby, Sweden – 11 March, 2011 – Micronic Mydata AB (publ), listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, Small Cap: MICR, today announced an order for a laser based mask writer Sigma7700 from a leading semiconductor manufacturer in Asia. The system is scheduled for delivery during the third quarter of 2011.

“The order strengthens our strong position at the customer, who already has systems from Micronic Mydata in production and who is now in need of more capacity,” said Peter Uddfors, president and CEO for Micronic Mydata AB. “We are pleased to say that we got this order in competition with other players.”

Micronic Mydata’s Sigma7700, that was launched late 2010, is aimed at manufacturing photomasks for semiconductor applications at technology nodes down to 55 nanometers and offers the customer a cost effective production solution.
