Täby, 27 April, 2011 - Micronic Mydata AB (publ), listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, Small Cap: MICR, announced today that the company has been certified in accordance with ISO9001:2008.

Micronic Mydata delivers production solutions for the electronics industry within two areas: pattern generation and surface mounting. Customers set high demands for reliable production and for development of their production processes. The ISO certification is a further strengthening of Micronic Mydata’s product quality, with increased customer satisfaction in focus.

“The certificate is proof that we’ve succeeded in implementing a well-structured, functioning quality system for our two business areas. An effective quality system is an important mainstay as we strive for increased customer satisfaction and continuous improvement,” says Peter Uddfors, President and CEO of Micronic Mydata.

The certification is also a milestone for Micronic Mydata AB as a newly merged company. A common quality system with certification has been important for Micronic Mydata AB, in order to take advantage of synergies and increase flexibility within the organization. During the integration work, focus was on identifying best practices in ways of working and methodologies and in creating common processes and routines.

“The certification work has brought common ground, knowledge and awareness of quality to the entire organization. The common quality system gives us a platform for future quality development within the company,” says Magnus Askvid, Vice President of Quality at Micronic Mydata AB.
