Micronic Receives Order for a MP80+ Laser Pattern Generator Taby, Sweden, January 9, 2003 -- Micronic Laser Systems AB (Stockholmsbörsen's Attract 40: MICR), a leading manufacturer of laser pattern generation equipment to the semiconductor and display industries, has received an order for a MP80+ laser pattern generator from a photomask manufacturer in China. The system is scheduled to ship during the first half of 2003. "This order confirms the continued confidence in our tools within the MP80+ product line," said Sven Lofquist, Micronic president and CEO. The MP80+ is a laser pattern generator designed for a wide variety of applications. The tool offers high resolution and throughput, as well as flexibility to produce with several different substrates and processes.
