Micronic Receives Order for an advanced TFT-LCD Laser Pattern Generator Täby, Sweden - July 1, 2002 - Micronic Laser Systems AB (OM Stockholm Exchange: MICR), a leading manufacturer of laser pattern generation equipment to semiconductor and display industries, today announced that it has received an order in the end of the second quarter for a LRS11000 series TFT-LCD (thin film transistor - liquid crystal display) laser pattern generator from a major merchant photomask manufacturer in Asia. Delivery is scheduled for Q4, 2002. In addition to this order the customer has an option for an extension of an existing system due in the fourth quarter. "Micronic's LRS11000 series products are firmly established as the industry standard. All manufacturers of advanced display photomasks use Micronic pattern generators."
