Micronic receives orders exceeding 150 MSEK Täby, Sweden, June 11, 2001 - Micronic Laser Systems AB (Stockholmsbörsen's Attract 40: MICR), is at the forefront in semiconductor and display laser pattern generators for the production of photomasks to the world wide electronic industries. Micronic today announces that it has received two orders totally exceeding 150 MSEK. One order was placed by an Asian company, for an Omega6500 laser pattern generator for production of semiconductor photomasks. The other order was received from a Japanese company, for a LRS11000 multi beam laser pattern generator for production of advanced photomasks used in TFT-displays. The systems will be delivered during the third and fourth quarter 2001. "These important orders from both the semiconductor and the display market demonstrate the competitiveness of our Omega products and that our display customers continue to invest in critical technology despite a weak end user market," says Sven Löfquist, Micronic's president and CEO.
