Micronic wins order for laser writer for production of photomasks for active LCD-display screens. Micronic Laser Systems has received an order worth some SEK 35 million from a customer in Japan for a laser writer for the production of photomasks for active LCD-display screens. Shipment of the machine is expected to take place during the third quarter of 1999. "This order is a result of long-term co-operation and underscores our dominant position on the market for display screens, one of Micronic's most important market segments," says Ulf Sundström, sales manager.
