New American Brand Enters European Market at Annual Lingerie/Swimwear Show

[Beverly Hills, CA. 5 July 2012] The new Beverly Hills, CA–based luxury lingerie and beauty company, Naked Princess, makes its European premiere at this week’s annual Mode City Paris Salon International du Swimwear & de la Lingerie (July 7–9, 2012). The intimate apparel trade show features over 500 brands presenting their current and upcoming collections for international buyers and press. Exhibiting in the Limited Edition showcase (Booth F48), Naked Princess will introduce its third lingerie collection for Spring/Summer 2013 featuring two groupings of lace and silk chiffon designs. Intrinsic to the new collection is Naked Princess’ emphasis on lingerie that can be worn both in the boudoir and outside when combined with ready-to-wear fashion.

“We’re excited to show the European market the beautiful and intricate designs made in the USA,” comments Jordana Woodland, CEO/Owner of Naked Princess. Her love of Parisian and boudoir sensibilities influenced the decision to produce luxury lingerie and cleanly formulated beauty products in Southern California.  “Our vintage European viewpoint with a fresh California perspective has garnered international interest early in our launch, so we are excited to bring our collections to Paris where the boudoir state of mind is a way of life.” Leading the charge is Henry R. Mandell, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, who will be attending the show with Co-Founder/Chief Creative Officer Becca B. Frank. “Our vision for Naked Princess is to be a luxury player in the global luxury lingerie market. Meeting with key partners in the European market at Mode City is the next step to bringing this vision to fruition,” states Mandell.

The Spring/Summer 2013 collection, titled “Let The Butterflies Begin,” features over 18 different styles offered in a full range of sizes from XS to XL in up to six seasonal colors (MSRP $60–$375). New to the line is a fuller chest silhouette of bras offered in a 38D and smaller for an underserved market segment. Naked Princess is also premiering its new essentials collection of premium MIcroModal® fabric in five new styles, ranging in retail price from $59–$155 for Fall 2012 delivery.
