Already successful distributors of the Just Add Power range of HD over IP products, HD Connectivity Ltd has now gone one step further by launching the display arm of its business. Set up to help installation businesses deliver the biggest residential and commercial AV & digital signage solutions, HD Connectivity Display offers the very latest display technology and products using the least amount of hardware.

Product highlights include:

•Large single-format displays (40 – 82” options available)
•Single displays with quad modes (divides a single screen (40, 46, 55 & 60” options available) into four screens – each playing a different source).
•Digital signage ‘Totem’ displays (40, 46, & 53” options available).
•Low cost video walls (up to 10 x 10 screens)
•2-year swap-out guarantee and reliable UK-based support.

All screens are HDTV 1080P LCD or LED Samsung panels.

All HDC Displays are high performance and capable of delivering the most stunning visual impact, with the crispest pin sharp image quality and billions of bright colours, thanks to the latest high definition LED and LCD panels from technology leaders Samsung and Sharp. Supplied with a two-year swap-out guarantee and reliable UK-based support, HDC Display’s range of economical large format LCD / LED displays and low cost video wall packages all feature super or ultra-narrow bezels for discrete installation and maximum visual impact.

Utilising HDC’s affordable Just Add Power range of HDMI over IP electronics, installers can create video walls with up to 10 x 10 screens combined for dramatic impact. As well as single-images, HDC Displays can also be divided up so that multiple images can be displayed at the same time, which is ideal for use in commercial applications where different information needs to be displayed at the same time, such as airport departures/arrivals boards etc.

Projects in the last year have included Microsoft, the NHS, Skype, Everything Everywhere and Morgan Cars, who were so impressed with the video wall when HD Connectivity hosted their recent RETHINK HD DISTRIBUTION training days at their factory in Malvern, that they asked to keep the wall!

HDC’s Chris Pinder can see an opportunity for more CI’s to get in on the action in this lucrative sector: “It is our recent experiences with our CI customers working in this new sector that has influenced HDC to launch this brand new strategic business unit. We’ve had huge successes in supplying HDMI over IP as the backbone for dauntingly large projects – primarily because it’s the only solution that can deliver HD content to both video walls and individual displays mixed on a single system. It was only natural for us to expand into the screen business and become a one-stop-shop resource for installers and integrators. Of course we want to supply the display hardware as well, particularly screens with the HDMI over IP Receiver modules built in.”

The creation of HDC Displays is a continuation of HDC’s ‘RETHINK’ philosophy, created to innovate technology categories and focus on both the product and supply, endeavouring to create more cost-effective solutions, whilst maintaining performance equality with market leaders.

“Digital signage is in high demand, with continued growth expected within the sector guaranteed for years to come” continues Pinder. “It’s unlikely an installer will be beaten on price for spec if quoting HDMI over IP and HDC Displays. We hope our products are used as a facilitator for installers to win more jobs. Screen sales aren’t an area where installers traditionally make good profit, but with HDC display they can. We genuinely believe that our offering is unique in terms of quality and available margin and for installers, it is an excellent opportunity to expand their revenue stream. What was once considered a very specialist installation is now relatively simple and a great opportunity to add the additional services to your business for continued long-term growth.”

As continued support and aid for its dealers and installer customers, HDC Display has negotiated attractive finance packages with leading finance specialists for those dealers who need additional support to realise their digital signage or video wall ambitions.
