Ticket Sales for NASCAR After The Lap Go On Sale Today
Proceeds Benefit NASCAR Foundation; Coca-Cola to Host Fan Zone to Culminate Victory Lap and Invite Fans to “Open Happiness” at NASCAR After The Lap
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2011) – NASCAR announced that tickets officially go on sale today for 2011 NASCAR After The Lap on Dec. 1 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
NASCAR After the Lap is one of the highlights of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion’s Week. Tickets for the third-annual event are now available for purchase at NASCARafterthelap.com for $20 each, with proceeds benefitting The NASCAR Foundation™, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that raises funds that support children’s charities and important causes throughout the nation.
“NASCAR After The Lap is one of the crown jewels of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion’s Week, and having proceeds benefit The NASCAR Foundation will help those in need,” The NASCAR Foundation Executive Director Sandy Marshall said.
Sponsored by Coca-Cola and Ford Motor Company, NASCAR After The Lap is renowned for its unfiltered, “tell-all” format featuring the 2011 Top 12 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers. The event is scheduled for Dec. 1 at 4:30 p.m. PT.
Fans can get a front-row seat for the conclusion of NASCAR Victory Lap at the Coca-Cola Fan Zone, which is located at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. Beginning at Noon, the Coca-Cola Fan Zone offers interactive displays from Sprint, Game Show Network, Coca-Cola and Ford, and is a prelude to NASCAR After The Lap.
For fans unable to attend NASCAR After The Lap, NASCAR.com will offer a live web cast at NASCAR.com. Additionally, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will broadcast the event live on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio channel 90.

NASCAR also will send one lucky fan to NASCAR After The Lap with the “SEND ME 2 VEGAS” sweepstakes. The sweepstakes was announced on Sept.19 and continues until Nov. 20, 2011, with one fan eligible to win a 2012 Ford Explorer valued at up to $33,000, a VIP trip for two to NASCAR After The Lap, and an opportunity to be featured in a promotional TV Spot on the Game Show Network and more.
