CHANGE OF DATE FOR NATIONAL ENERGY BOARD PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER TOLLS ON ENBRIDGE SOUTHERN LIGHTS PIPELINE

CALGARY - The National Energy Board (NEB or Board) has changed the date of the oral public hearing to consider the tolls and tariffs on Enbridge Southern Lights GP (ESL) pipeline.

The hearing has been rescheduled to begin on 15 November 2011 and will take place at the National Energy Board in Calgary, Alberta. The hearing was originally scheduled to begin on 20 September 2011.

Imperial Oil (Imperial) has filed a complaint with the Board about the current tolls and tariffs on the ESL pipeline. As a result, the NEB is holding a hearing to consider if the tolls are just and reasonable, if the uncommitted tolls are unjustly discriminatory and if they are an unreasonable impediment to potential uncommitted shippers.

The date to file a letter of comment has also been changed. Interested persons are invited to participate in this hearing by filing a letter of comment with the Secretary of the Board, and sending a copy to ESL and its counsel by 26 July 2011 at 12:00 p.m. (MDT).
