Appointment of new Vice President R&D

NattoPharma has today appointed Dr. Dan Edwall as Vice President R&D. In addition to being a qualified dentist, Dr. Dan Edwall holds a PhD in cell and molecular biology from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm Sweden. Dr. Dan Edwall has even a postdoctoral training as research fellow at the mineral metabolism unit of the University of Loma Linda in California, USA, and has subsequently worked with preclinical pharmacology in the Swedish pharmaceutical industry (Pharmacia, Pharmacia&Upjohn, Pharmacia Corporation och Biovitrum AB), and as director of research in the Accuro Immunology biotech company. Since 2006 Dr. Dan Edwall has been working with research in the food supplements business with Scandinavian Clinical Nutrition and Scandivir.
