NattoPharma has been notified by the European Patent Office that a notice of opposition was filed by Kappa Bioscience AS (Norway) against European Patent no. EP 1156025. NattoPharma has noted that many of the objections raised already have been discussed in writing and orally with the Examining Division of the EPO prior to grant and will defend the patent in the opposition proceeding to come.
