Though this is the first venture for PSC Games, its parent company The Plastic Soldier Company produces detailed plastic miniatures and is a well-known brand in the gaming and modeling market. Fans of The Plastic Soldier Company are excited at the prospect of a detailed strategy game utilising high quality plastic miniatures that the brand is known for.

Support for PSC Games is high, with the Kickstarter campaign for The Great War raising £71,987 with 863 backers. The company’s popularity as its commercial drive and strategic focus will allow PSC Games to become a major player in the international war game industry. Managing Director Will Townshend has both the personal desire and business experience to create great games that people will want to play over and over again.

The company’s capabilities encompass all major strategy gaming platforms and the team look forward to both demonstrating this and providing high quality games & content that are designed to meet what the market wants!

William Townshend, Managing Director, PSC Games, said “This is a very exciting time for the new company.  Although it is very early days, we have been overwhelmed by the support given by individuals from both the games industry and public.  As well as developing our own IP and concepts, we are focused on finding projects and partners to work with.

The next few months are going to be very interesting for PSC Games as it takes its first steps towards growing a sustainable and successful business.
