Vitaflo Scandinavia AB has signed a broadened agreement with Bifodan regarding the Nordic area.

EcoVag®
EcoVag® is a patented probiotic product within the Female Care area. The product relieves discomfort and restores the intimate natural eco-balance. A recently published double blind, randomised, placebo controlled study shows that EcoVag® significantly reduces the recurrence rate of Bacterial Vaginosis following antibiotic treatment. Bacterial Vaginosis is one of the most frequent vaginal infections and if left untreated may have severe gynaecological and obstetric consequences such as pelvic inflammatory disease, miscarriage and pre-term delivery. Even if Bacterial Vaginosis is successfully cured with commonly used antibiotics, the recurrence rate has been reported as high as 80% after 9 months.
Bifolac®
Bifolac® is a portfolio of probiotic products targeting gastro intestinal health. The products prevent and treat mild diarrhoea and are available in enteric-coated capsules, powder or as a chewable tablet with patent protected microencapsulated bacteria strains.
