Major order for Nederman India worth just over SEK 7 million
Nederman has received its biggest ever order for oilmist systems in India. The customer is Fiat India in cooperation with Tata Motors Ltd and is worth just over SEK 7 million.
Tata Motors, India’s second biggest car manufacturer, and Fiat, have a well-established multi-level partnership. A new Fiat factory for manufacturing gearboxes for both Fiat and Tata cars is being built in India. The Nederman order is for over 40 complete NOM oilmist systems plus a few Filter systems. The installation should be finished by the end of April 2008.
Nederman is fully in charge from design to installation. The installation will be carried out by a locally contracted Nederman team, and will start in the autumn.
Shirish Bhaskar Sathe, project manager, India says: “This is a very prestigious order for Nederman India. Designing and installing centralised/cellular oil mist filtration systems is a completely new concept in India. The installation will be a good reference point for the Indian market. Today, the Indian authorities expect companies to follow the environmental rules and regulations which are constantly being introduced.”
Nederman has had good cooperation with Tata Motors Limited in India. At the start of the year Nederman was awarded an order thanks to its better solution technology and network support. That order consisted of complete Exhaust extraction systems for truck assembly department.
