Nederman completes acquisition of Environmental Filtration Technologies (EFT)
Nederman Holding AB will take over as owner of EFT today.
The acquired business will be consolidated in the Nederman Group on the completion date. In practice, this will mean that no earnings relating to the acquisition, apart from acquisition costs, will be reported in Q3. EFT will be incorporated in Nederman’s EMEA and International operating segments. The integration of the businesses will start immediately and should be completed by the end of 2013.
Nederman was already the global market leader in industrial air filtration. The acquisition of EFT gives Nederman a strong position on the important North American market and further reinforces the Group in other significant markets such as Australia. EFT’s solutions and skills in the base industry segment (e.g. mining, chemicals and steel) will complement and further strengthen Nederman’s world-leading positions.
