Energy from the process ventilation will be reused to heat the production plant, which is estimated to save around 3,500MW of energy (equivalent to a CO² reduction of around 700 tonnes per year).

The order comprises of five ventilation units and control and regulator technology for heating and ventilation. In addition to the equipment order there is also a 5-year service agreement. The project will be completed during the first half of 2012.

“We are very proud to be chosen as the supplier for this environmental technology solution that will ensure a good working environment as well as reduced energy consumption in production,” says Sven Kristensson, President and CEO of Nederman.
