Nederman India has signed a three-year agreement with Suzlon Energy Limited to supply Nederman’s capturing and filtering system. The total value of deliveries in 2008 will be slightly over SEK 13 million.
Suzlon chose Nederman as a supplier against stiff competition from both domestic and international companies due to the extensive experience Nederman has from supplying similar system solutions to other wind turbine suppliers.
The first system will be installed and in operation during 2008.

Sven Kristensson, Nederman’s CEO says: “Suzlon continually invests in modern facilities so that it can provide safe, eco-friendly workplaces. Besides the system for capturing and filtering dust, the company will also test and evaluate the system for filtering welding smoke. We see huge potential in India for our eco-systems in the metal and composite grinding segments as well as the automotive sector.”

Suzlon Energy Limited, with its head office in Pune, India, is one of the pioneers in the global wind turbine manufacturing industry. Suzlon has chosen Aarhus, Denmark as its base for international expansion. The company has wind turbine manufacturing facilities in Australia, Brazil, China, India, Italy, Portugal, South Korea and the United States.
