Establishment of new factory in Slovakia

Establishment of new factory in Slovakia Nefab's Board of Directors' have decided to establish a production unit in Slovakia. The establishment is a step forward in our ambition to place production close to Nefab's customers and at the same time gain cost advantages. The new plant will be dimensionally designed for a production capacity of approximately SEK 135 M (maximum). The investment in production equipment is estimated to reach approximately SEK 20 M. Furthermore, machine capacity will be re-localised from present entities. In parallel with the build up of the new production unit, production of labour intense products will be moved from existing plants in Europe. "Nefab's customers are increasing their demand for cost efficiency, flexibility and service, which means that gradually we have to reconsider our locality regarding production resources", says CEO Lars- Åke Rydh.
