Nefab acquires MK Special Emballage
Nefab acquires MK Special Emballage Nefab has signed a preliminary agreement covering the acquisition of the operations of MK Special Emballage. MK Special Emballage manufactures and sells packaging materials, mainly to Swedish industry. The company has sales of approximately SEK 40 M and some 20 employees. The acquisition is part of Nefab's efforts to become a supplier of complete packaging solutions. MK Special Emballage supplies several of Nefab's key customers and the products complement the rest of Nefab's product range. The products consist of customized cushioning and securing packaging assemblies produced from cellular plastic and plastic foam. It is anticipated that the acquisition will result in a positive contribution to the earnings per share already the first year. The take- over is expected to take place on March 1, 2001.
