Nefab grows 26% and posts six-month profit of SEK 75 M

Nefab’s six-month interim report presented today shows a strong improvement in invoicing and earnings. Profit after net financial items rose by SEK 21 M to SEK 75 M. Invoicing increased by 26%, of which 12% is organic growth. First six months of 2006 in summary: - Invoicing amounted to SEK 903 M (716), up 26%. - Profit after financial items was SEK 75 M (54). - Earnings per share amounted to SEK 2.05 (1.44). - Sharp growth in invoicing in China. - Decision to establish fourth plant in China. “The first six months of 2006 were highly positive,” says Lars-Åke Rydh, President of Nefab. ”I am particularly pleased by the strong growth”. ”Despite several acquisitions that resulted in integration costs and amortization of surplus values, we can report favorable earnings,” continues Rydh. ”China continues to be a highly attractive market. We already have three plants in the Shanghai area and in southern China. We have now decided to establish a fourth plant in the Beijing area,” concludes Rydh.
