CDON Group AB (publ.) (‘CDON Group’ or ‘the Group’), the leading e-commerce group in the Nordic region, today announced the appointment of Paul Fischbein as the Group’s new President and Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Paul has served as CEO of white goods and household appliances e-retailer Tretti AB, which was acquired by CDON Group in the first half of 2011 and is part of the Group’s Home & Garden business segment, since 2004.

Former Group President and CEO Mikael Olander, who tendered his resignation in August 2011 and has a twelve month contractual notice period, will hand over his responsibilities to Paul Fischbein before leaving the Group.

Hans-Holger Albrecht, Chairman of the Board of Directors, commented: “The Board is delighted to announce Paul’s appointment following a selection process that included a number of high quality internal and external candidates. Paul knows the business and industry well, having successfully built up his own online retailing business, listed it on the stock market and now integrated it into CDON Group’s portfolio of well-established and market-leading internet stores. CDON Group is very well-positioned to capitalise on the ongoing migration of retail sales to the internet, and Paul and the management team are tasked with making the most of this tremendous market opportunity.”
