CDON Group's Sports & Health segment has successfully deployed its new logistics centre in Trollhättan, Sweden, which serves the segment's three online stores Gymgrossisten.com, Bodystore.com and Milebreaker.com with warehousing, logistics and customer service.

The relocation was completed in 49 hours. In total, 45 trailers carried nearly 1,500 pallets with more than 1.5 million articles to the new facility. Today, all orders are picked and shipped from the new logistics centre, which is 12,700 square meters and employs 115 people.

Therese Hillman, Head of CDON Group’s Business Segment Sport & Health, commented: "Three years ago we doubled the size of our previous warehouse, which we have now outgrown. The strong growth brings us to further increase our capacity, from 3,500 to 12,700 square meters. Our new logistics centre also presents new opportunities to expand, improve and develop our business."

Non-recurring costs related to the relocation is estimated at just over SEK five million, which will affect the segment's results in the second quarter.
