New Managing Director of Tele2 A/S

PRESS RELEASE 4 January 2000 New Managing Director of Tele2 A/S As from today, Kenneth Gustafsson, vice-managing director, replaces Ebbe Jørgensen as managing director of Tele2 A/S. The new managing director of Tele2 Denmark, Kenneth Gustafsson (aged 48 ), joined Tele2 Denmark in August 1999 as vice-managing director of Tele2 A/S. For a number of years, Kenneth Gustafsson worked as director in the NetCom group. His most recent position was as managing director of Tele2 AS in Norway, a company he has helped develop since its start in the Norwegian market. Ebbe Jørgensen continues as information director of Tele2 A/S and as vice- chairman of Tele2's board of directors. In future, Ebbe Jørgensen will handle Tele2's interests concerning the public framework for telecommunication as well as press relations. In addition, Ebbe Jørgensen will attend to a number of managerial tasks on a Nordic level within the NetCom group, which owns the Nordic Tele2 companies.
