Further strengthening broadband management initiative: creating PacketFront Software Solutions AB

PacketFront has created a new legally independent subsidiary – PacketFront Software Solutions AB.

PacketFront Software Solutions AB is effective as of today, 1st of November, and will be part of PacketFront Holding AB, which contains 3 legal independent entities:

• PacketFront International AB (containing the businesses of CPEs, Access products and complete FTTH solutions for the Swedish market),
• PacketFront Shanghai Ltd (R&D center for the PacketFront Group) and
• the newly formed and hereby announced PacketFront Software Solutions AB (offering broadband management solutions).

The reasons for this change are to enable us to enter new market segments and to liaise with other equipment manufacturers. With this move we gain the required independence and neutrality when dealing with equipment manufacturers.

PacketFront Software Solutions AB will be headed by Ulf Avrin, who is today VP for the Broadband Management Solutions business unit.

Our aim is to deliver service provisioning solutions to operators primarily in Europe and Middle East independent of their access supplier and applied broadband technologies.
