Janne Turunen Appointed Springtoys New CEO Janne Turunen (30), in charge of production and operational management of Springtoys, a creator of mobile, wireless entertainment applications and development tools, has been appointed Springtoys' new CEO, as of 5 June, 2001. Mr. Turunen is one of the founders of Springtoys, a member of Management and The Board of Directors. He has until now served as Jarmo Kuusivuori's deputy during the powerful growth of the company. Mr. Kuusivuori will continue his career at Sun Microsystems. "The last half a year has been a time of strong development of business models and building the organization, in which we needed broad expertise from outside. Now we have acquired more good investors to the background, and we have built up a strong organization, which is capable of handling international growth and sales", says Turunen. Turunen has seven years experience in the IT sector at among others TietoEnator, where he worked with business development before founding Springtoys.
