Former Dustin CEO Joins NetSymphony’s Board
NetSymphony has strengthened its Board of Directors with the appointment of Johan Karlsson, former CEO and long-serving Chief Financial Officer of Dustin, one of the Nordic region's leading providers of IT products and services.
“Johan Karlsson is a highly respected and well-known executive in the IT industry,” says Dennis Jansson, CEO of NetSymphony. “He brings valuable expertise in corporate finance, strategic growth and company development, together with extensive experience from both the IT distribution and reseller sides of the market.”
Johan Karlsson has held senior leadership positions in the technology sector for more than two decades. He served as CFO of Dustin from 2009 to 2023 before being appointed CEO, a position he held until the autumn of 2025. Prior to Dustin, he was Regional Finance Director at TD SYNNEX (formerly Tech Data), one of the world's largest distributors of IT products and solutions.
Alongside his executive career, Johan Karlsson has built extensive board experience. He served for many years on the board of Adlibris, one of the largest online booksellers in the Nordic region, including two years as Chairman. He has also served as a board member of the industrial technology company Permascand, now Elicron.
For Johan Karlsson, it was the combination of people, technology and market potential that made NetSymphony an attractive opportunity.
“NetSymphony has developed a truly world-class product while building a company with enormous growth potential,” says Johan Karlsson. “What attracted me most was the opportunity to join at an early stage and work alongside an exceptionally talented team. I look forward to contributing my experience as the company enters its next phase of growth.”
NetSymphony is an innovative SaaS company whose orchestration platform enables enterprises to build secure, efficient and cost-effective network operations by automating and governing complex network workflows across existing IT infrastructure.
“With Johan Karlsson joining the Board, we further strengthen our ability to meet growing international demand and create long-term value for the company and its customers,” says Dennis Jansson.
The other members of NetSymphony's board are Emanuel Lipschütz (Chairman), Andreas Harting, Philip Carls, Michael Hjorth and Dennis Jansson.
