Göran Härstedt new CEO in New Wave Group

Torsten Jansson has decided to resign as CEO and Group Chief Executive in connection with the Annual Meeting on 11th May 2007. Torsten Jansson will be suggested as Chairman of the Board of Directors by New Wave Group’s nomination committee (“nomineringskommittén”). Torsten Jansson will continue to work in the management of New Wave Group focusing on important projects, especially acquisitions and new establishments, and will consequently be a working Chairman of the Board.

New Wave Group’s deputy CEO Göran Härstedt has been appointed new CEO and Group Chief Executive with effect from 11th May 2007. Göran Härstedt has since 2001 been deputy CEO in New Wave Group. Before this, Göran Härstedt was a lawyer and Partner within the law firm Wistrand Advokatbyrå.

The change of CEO is a natural result of a process, during which Göran Härstedt gradually has taken over the responsibilities for the daily management of New Wave Group. The new organisation will give Torsten Jansson the possibility to continue focusing on strategic and growth projects within the New Wave group of companies.
