New managing director and supplementary business in Sko Team AB Sko Team AB, a completely owned subsidiary of New Wave Group AB (publ), has appointed Matz Ekman as its new managing director. Matz Ekman most recently was a local- and marketing manager within the business area Restaurant Equipment at ICA Menyföretagen AB, and, as such, he was also a member of the managerial body in the named company. Matz Ekman will assume his post during August 2001. New Wave has during this year, in co-operation with its clients, developed methods for the printing and marking of shoes. Sko Team AB will during this year start to sell work shoes and shoes suitable for profiling. This shoe-collection will be launched by both New Wave's profile distributors and by work wear companies. The collection will during this year only be launched in Sweden. Should the launch be successful, the collection will also be launched abroad during next year. New Wave is very optimistic regarding the future for its work shoes and shoes suitable for profiling. By introducing a business of this kind in Sko Team AB, the company will get a more natural connection with New Wave's business area Profiling, and will therefore be able to take advantage of the experience and knowledge that exist within New Wave with regard to profiling.
