New Wave Group’s Female Advisory Board

The composition of New Wave Group’s Female Advisory Board is now completed and the members have been appointed. The purpose with the board is partly that it should work as an advisory body to New Wave Group regarding women’s view on the group’s trademarks, products, image, stores and strategies, etc, partly to increase New Wave Group’s female network for future recruitments of female managers, which in the long run creates a higher degree of equality of opportunity between women and men among the group’s managers.

The members in New Wave Group Female Advisory Group are as follows:

Isabella Jansson

Daughter to Torsten Jansson. Isabella is a upper secondary school pupil and she will represent the younger female generation in the board and the appointment also form an essential part of her introduction into the group.

Ingegerd Hadenius

Journalist with experience from Reuters, among others. She has earlier been active at Öhmans Fondkommission as analyst. Ingegerd is today chief editor for ELLE PULS. Ingegerd will in the board contribute with her knowledge and experiences within communication and economy.

Emma-Helena Nilsson

Is having a exam from School of Social Studies and previous active with cross-country skiing on top level. Miss Sweden 1999. Emma-Helena is currently active as project coordinator (PR and Events) within a large international group. Emma-Helena will in the board contribute with her knowledge and experiences within sport and international marketing.

Ulrica Messing

Member of the Swedish parliament (Riksdag) and previous cabinet minister with responsibility for equality of opportunity between women and men, sport, forest, tourism and infra-structure. Ulrica will in the board contribute with her knowledge and experiences within politics, tourism and sport.

Barbro McAusland

Active within international tourism since 1970 and one of the most experienced within the area. Barbro is currently responsible for Visit Sweden in Germany and has previously been responsible för United Kingdom and USA. Barbro will in the board contribute with her knowledge and experiences within international tourism.

Pernilla Wiberg

One of the best and most famous female skiers in Sweden. Besides 24 wins in the alpine world cup, Pernilla has been a medallist in both the Olympic Games and World Championship. In 2002, she was elected into the International Olympic Committee and has during the latest years been expert commentator for the Swedish Television (SVT). Pernilla will in the board contribute with her knowledge and experiences within sport.

Together the members offers at very wide competence with wide international experience and with a good spread of age. Torsten Jansson will be the convener.
