Nexam Chemical appoints Francesco Pisciotti as new head of development
Nexam Chemical has recruited Francesco Pisciotti as new head of development (CTO) for Nexam Chemical. Francesco has a long experience in developing polymeric materials, its processing and property development in end products. With his background and knowledge within polymeric materials he we will become a great asset to the company. Under Francesco’s leadership, the development of new multifunctional masterbatches customized for customers’ processes will intensify.
Francesco Pisciotti has a PhD in material science and technology from Chalmers University of Technology with a focus on polymeric materials and how they are processed. He has long experience in leading successful development projects in polymeric materials. Previously Francesco Pisciotti has worked at Tetra Pak for many years with the development of future polymeric materials. Before that he has experience from RISE, Research Institutes of Sweden. Francesco Pisciotti’s competencies and long experience leading development projects in polymeric materials further strengthen Nexam Chemicals ability to develop products customized for the specific materials customers’ are working with.
Francesco will be a part of the management team and will assume his position on the 1st of February 2019. Nexam Chemicals current CTO, Erik Lager, has received a new assignment within the procurement project that Nexam Chemical has initiated with the goal of improving margins for the company´s products.
