Nexam Chemical has received an order from an already excisting customer with a value amounting to approximately SEK 8 million for NEXIMID®
The company located in the USA has been a regular customer to Nexam for a longer time. They have now placed a call off order for 2023. NEXMID® can be used to manufacture polyimide resin, which is an essential component in temperature resistant composites. Composites containing NEXIMID® is used in environments where extensive material stress and high temperature put extreme requirements on the material. The application area is mainly within advanced aircraft, space and other areas where the performance requirements on the materials are the highest.
"The order shows that this area is still very interesting for us. This area is the original foundation of Nexam's technology and is still an important part. It shows the technical potential that exists in our company. We are a player in the most advanced materials available in the polymer field. The company was one of Nexam's first customers. This is the largest order we have received from them so far. The fact that they are still ordering and have gradually increased the volume is very gratifying.” says Johan Arvidsson, CEO of Nexam Chemical.
