- Borys Schafran will lead the expansion in North America

Nasdaq First North-listed Nexam Chemical has recruited Borys Schafran as a new Business Development Consultant. He most recently came from Jayhawk and a role as marketing and sales manager. At Nexam, he is responsible for the growing region of North America, where the company helps plastic manufacturers to improve their products - both in terms of durability and function.

Borys Schafran has solid experience in business development, sales and marketing from the companies AkzoNobel, Evonik and most recently, CABB's Jayhawk Fine Chemicals unit, which is directly related to Nexam's business in the region. There, Borys Schafran was responsible for sales and marketing of fine chemicals.

- The strong growth of composite materials, wind power and plastic recycling creates the conditions for continued rapid expansion in North America, as our products contribute to market-leading solutions. To take advantage of the opportunities to continue to grow in these areas, it feels very good to be able to recruit one of the best on the market, says Johan Arvidsson CEO at Nexam Chemical.

- I look forward to continuing to develop Nexam's already market-leading products. I see really good conditions to continue Nexam's business in these areas, says Borys Schafran, Business Development Consultant at Nexam Chemical.

About Nexam Chemical

Nexam Chemical develops technology and products that make it possible to significantly improve the production process and properties of most types of plastics in a cost-effective manner and with retained production technology. The improved properties include strength, toughness, temperature and chemical resistance as well as service life. The improvements in properties that can be achieved by using Nexam Chemical's technology make it possible to replace metals and other heavier or more expensive materials with plastics in a number of applications. In applications where plastic is already used, Nexam Chemicals products can improve the manufacturing process, reducing material use and enable more environmental friendly alternatives. Example of commercial applications: pipe manufacturing, foam production and high-performance plastics. More information about the business will be found on www.nexamchemical.com.
