Nexam Chemical Holding AB (publ), a leading innovater in sustainable solutions that enhance the performance and circularity of plastic materials, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Business Manager to capitalize on the growing demand for advanced recycled plastic applications.

Johannes Lorenz, 51, based in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, holds an engineering degree from RWTH Aachen University, Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV Aachen). With over 25 years of experience in technology and sales within advanced plastics engineering, biopolymers, plastic foams, and plastic recycling, he brings a wealth of knowledge to Nexam Chemical. Johannes has most recently developed the market in northern Germany and BeNeLux for Dynisco (www.dynisco.com), an American leader in innovative sensing solutions for pressure, temperature and viscosity along the value chain in the plastics industry.

In his new role, Johannes will be responsible for global business development, market expansion, sales, and technical oversight for the "ReColour Plus" product range. His focus will include expanding the product portfolio to better serve customers with customized recycling solutions. Additionally, Johannes will play a key role in bridging the original segments of "colour masterbatch" and "specialty chemicals," further integrating market activities in the Nordics and Eastern Europe with those in Central Europe. Johannes joins Nexam Chemical on October 1st. He will be a fully integrated member of the Nexam Chemical management team, reporting directly to CEO Ronnie Törnqvist.

CEO Ronnie Törnqvist commented, "We are thrilled to welcome Johannes to our team. His extensive experience and strong presence in Central European markets will be instrumental in advancing our ambitions to lead the development of plastics recycling into more advanced applications. His addition strengthens our already robust management, sales, and technology teams and enhances our ability to serve our customers better. The proximity of our facilities in Poznan in Poland and Lomma in southern Sweden to Germany and the BeNeLux countries, provides an excellent foundation for expanding our presence in Central Europe."

Johannes will join Business Managers Dane Momcilovic and Henrik Bernquist to ensure comprehensive coverage of Nexam Chemical's new market strategy and will bolster our capacity to manage broader markets and focus on offering a complete, customer-tailored recycling additive solutions portfolio.

About Nexam Chemical

Nexam Chemical develops technology and products that make it possible to significantly improve the production process and properties of most types of plastics in a cost-effective manner and with retained production technology. The improved properties include strength, toughness, temperature and chemical resistance as well as service life. The improvements in properties that can be achieved by using Nexam Chemical's technology make it possible to replace metals and other heavier or more expensive materials with plastics in a number of applications. In applications where plastic is already used, Nexam Chemicals products can improve the manufacturing process, reducing material use and enable more environmental friendly alternatives. Example of commercial applications: pipe manufacturing, foam production and high-performance plastics. More information about the business will be found on www.nexamchemical.com.
