Nexam Chemical´s patent application relating to a production process has been granted in Japan

Nexam Chemical has been notified by the Japanese Patent Office that it has granted the company´s patent application relating to the production process of the crosslinker EBPA.

EBPA, which Nexam Chemical markets under the name of NEXIMID® 400, is a crosslinker and chain extender that can be used in high temperature applications. Nexam Chemical has developed a completely new industrial scale manufacturing process for NEXIMID® 400, which yields high product quality at a commercially viable price. NEXIMID® 400 fits well into the product portfolio of crosslinkers that Nexam Chemical offers its customers, primarily for hightemperature polyimide materials. The patent has previously been granted in Europe and the United States.
