Nexam Chemical has been informed by Sumitomo of Japan, one of the world’s largest chemical/material companies, that they now have commercialized the first application containing Nexam’s crosslinkers.

The application is polyimide films for coating of high-performance computer chips. Scale-up is now successfully completed and commercialization is made.

The order value for Nexam during the first twelve months is estimated to approximately SEK 300,000 and the expectation is that this will increase with time. Sumitomo also informed that they are developing more applications containing Nexam’s products.

"Although this application has a limited economic value, it is a milestone for Nexam as it is our first commercial application within Electronics", says Nexam's CEO Per Palmqvist Morin.
