The NEXT customer target sales in excess of 1 million units over the first 12-18 months of operation

NEXT Biometrics has received an initial order for 100 000 sensors from a new customer within the SmartHome segment. Deliveries will start in July and will be completed by November.

The NEXT customer target sales in excess of 1 million units over the first 12-18 months of operations.

NEXT CEO Tore Etholm-Idsøe comments : « After 12 months of design and testing iterations our customer, a leading design and manufacturing house, has moved forward with their first volume order. The application is SmartHome related and will be distributed by a segment leading brand name player. Their name will be made public when they launch their products later this year.

This order is significant as it further highlights the potential volumes in these ”NEXT-enabled” markets, where our high quality and low cost sensor enables the market itself.

Looking at the fundamentals, technology and market-wise, NEXT now has access to a larger combined market than any other player in our industry.»
