19 November 2014 – Strategic outsourcing giant Mitie now have more than 25,000 of their staff using the Ezitracker remote worker management service across the UK and Ireland.  Mitie were one of the earliest adopters of the Ezitracker service in the facilities sector, first using it in 2005.  Within 18 months Ezitracker was being used by 8,000 employees across Mitie’s cleaning business and uptake has steadily increased to the point where Ezitracker is now considered a vital component in Mitie’s vast reporting programme.

According to Ezitracker there are two key reasons why companies adopt their remote worker management system:  the requirement to provide electronic proof of service to their own clients and the need to reduce the colossal task of hundreds or even thousands of remote employees completing paper timesheets every week, with Ezitracker having the unrivalled track record for both of these.

Commenting on Ezitracker, Alex Coombes, Finance Projects Manager for Mitie Facilities Management, said, “Ezitracker is a simple yet effective service that our employees find easy to use.  It is an important part of our control environment, enabling us to drive through operational efficiencies, improve performance levels and continue to deliver outstanding service to our customers.  Without Ezitracker we could not manage our business so effectively.”

Commenting on the support provided to Mitie, Ezitracker Managing Director, John Moore, said, “We are delighted that such a high profile company as Mitie have given such a robust endorsement of Ezitracker.  With 25,000 Mitie staff using the system we believe it is now the largest employee monitoring service in Europe.  It means Mitie can provide electronic evidence of service delivery to their clients, obtain operational efficiencies and gain a substantial reduction in the administrative burden of paper timesheets; resulting in significant savings in payroll processing.”

Ezitracker are currently working with Mitie to produce sophisticated bespoke real-time reports, providing Mitie’s FM managers with live and relevant information in an easy-to-use format that will further improve the services they deliver on client sites.  “And we very much look forward to further strengthening our close and effective relationship with Mitie in the future,” adds Mr Moore.
