New Prescription Sports Eyewear from Sunglasses For Sport
Sunglasses For Sport Ltd, the specialist online retailer of sports sunglasses and eyewear, has just added a totally new prescription-ready model to its Evolution house brand range. Called Evolution Geneva RX, it’s a really clever design featuring an “inner frame” for the lenses – this basically means the lens itself isn’t too curved but the sunglass frame is, making it a much easier job for the optician; most opticians are unable to make curved prescription lenses and this innovative design overcomes the problem.
2 September 2014 – Sunglasses For Sport Ltd, the specialist online retailer of sports sunglasses and eyewear, has just added a totally new prescription-ready model to its Evolution ‘house brand’ range. Called Evolution Geneva RX, it’s a really clever design featuring an “inner frame” for the lenses – this basically means that whilst the sunglass frame is sports style the lenses are not too curved, making it a much easier job for the optician; most opticians are unable to make curved prescription lenses and this innovative design overcomes the problem.
The lenses are held in detachable inner “frames”. These are supplied with lens ‘blanks’ – all you have to do is ask your optician to remove the blanks and put prescription lenses in to the colour and type of lens of your choice (Sunglasses For Sport also offer a prescription service). These inner lens frames are held firmly in place and will not come loose with active use. Additional, spare lens frames can also be purchased, which means you could have another set of lenses made in a different colour and simply change lens colours whenever you need.
Additional features of the Evolution Geneva RX are that it has a black frame with slim profile straight temples; these have flexible tips providing a firm but comfortable fit. The moulded nose pads also mean they cannot work loose and become lost.
