New Prescription Sports Eyewear from Sunglasses For Sport

Sunglasses For Sport Ltd, brand owner and distributor of Evolution sports sunglasses and eyewear, has just added a totally new prescription-ready model to the Evolution range.  Called Evolution Geneva RX, the innovative design features an “inner frame” for the lenses – this overcomes the problem of manufacturing curved lenses for sport style frames.

2 September 2014 – Sunglasses For Sport Ltd, brand owner and distributor of Evolution sports sunglasses and eyewear, has just added a totally new prescription-ready model to the Evolution range.  Called Evolution Geneva RX, the innovative design features an “inner frame” for the lenses – this overcomes the problem of manufacturing curved lenses for sport style frames:  whilst the eyewear frame is Base 8, the inner frame holding the prescription lenses is Base 4.

The detachable inner frame holding the lenses is supplied with lens ‘blanks’ to be replaced with prescription lenses to the colour and type of the customer’s choice.  These inner lens frames are held firmly in place and will not come loose with active use.  Additional, spare lens frames can also be purchased, which means a customer could have another set of lenses made in a different colour and they simply change lens colours whenever needed.

Additional features of the Evolution Geneva RX are that it has a black frame with slim profile straight temples (ideal for wearing with a helmet); these have flexible tips, providing a firm but comfortable fit.  The moulded nose pads also mean they cannot work loose and become lost.

The recommended retail price of the Evolution Geneva RX is £24.95, supplied with a soft carry pouch and hard case.
