SeaSafe have just launched a new gilet called Pacific Lite with CLS – Concealed Lifejacket System – the new model is perfect for warmer weather or warmer waters.

7 January 2011 – SeaSafe Systems Ltd, the Cowes based manufacturer of marine safety clothing, has just introduced a new gilet called Pacific Lite. This new model features a premium grade breathable fabric along with SeaSafe’s CLS – Concealed Lifejacket System. The stylish Pacific Lite sleeveless jacket has a new mesh netting back and liner which allows for continuous breathability and makes the gilet light and comfortable to wear. The fabric draws perspiration away from the body to keep the wearer drier. It makes this gilet perfect for warmer months or warmer waters. With the SeaSafe CLS no one need realise the wearer is actually wearing a lifejacket but the Pacific Lite will operate in exactly the same way as a conventional lifejacket with a fully automatic self-inflating system and 150 Newtons of buoyancy and self-righting mechanism. The Pacific Lite is available in combination black / yellow (with a black mesh back) and includes an Aquapac mini phone case, a flare pocket, SOLAS light and knife holder. The gilet also has large capacity pockets, a fleece lined collar and, of course, a crotch strap. Retailing at just £249.95, it is excellent value when you consider that it’s both a practical item of clothing and a lifejacket.
