15 April 2014 – Sunglasses For Sport Ltd, in partnership with a manufacturing optician, has developed a totally new design of prescription shooting eyewear called RX4-CS.  Specifically designed for clay shooting, it has all the features that shooters look for but now with prescription lenses – and at sensible prices.

Featuring large lenses for maximum eye protection, the RX4-CS is a rimless, frameless design with a very small bridge and nose piece for completely unobscured vision.  Designed to sit high, even trap shooters will not see any of the top of the lens and the ultra slim profile titanium arms are ideally suited to wearing under ear defenders.

The prescription lenses would be made from either polycarbonate or Trivex; a shatterproof material providing full impact protection with excellent visual acuity characteristics.

RX4-CS can be made with a variety of lens colours such as grey, brown, yellow, purple, orange and rose.  It can also be made with photochromic (light adjusting) lenses and polarised lenses.  Prices start at just £139.95 for a single vision coloured lens.
