Telio delivered on the company’s key financial target for 2014

The Telio Group concluded 2014 delivering EBITDA of NOK 78.3 million in the fourth quarter. Revenues in the fourth quarter ended at NOK 314 million. Revenues in 2014 ended at NOK 1,272 million and EBITDA at NOK 308 million.

-   The fourth quarter concluded a good year for Telio. We achieved the key financial target for the company in 2014 with an EBITDA of NOK 308 million. In addition, the company has paid NOK 3.25 per share in dividend in 2014. However, the fourth quarter is showing some weakness with reduced gross margin. This is a development we have to adjust to and we are now taking measures to secure good profitability for the company also in the future, says Eirik Lunde, CEO of Telio Holding ASA.

EBITDA for Telio Group was NOK 78.3 million and EBIT was NOK 46.4 million (EBIT adjusted for amortization costs of NOK 9.6 million related to the acquisition of NextGenTel AS). Profit after tax was NOK 26.4 million.

Extraordinary dividend

An extraordinary shareholders meeting approved an extraordinary dividend of NOK 1.25 per share on 21 November 2014. The dividend was paid on 4 December 2014.

Financial results

In the fourth quarter 2014, the Telio Group achieved revenues of NOK 314 million compared to NOK 327.7 million in the year-ago quarter. EBITDA was NOK 78.3 million (24.9% EBITDA margin) compared to NOK 73.9 million (22.5 % EBITDA margin) in the same quarter last year. Operating profit ended at NOK 46.4 million compared to NOK 32.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2013 (EBITDA and operating profit are adjusted for non-recurring items and EBIT is adjusted for amortization cost related to the acquisition of NextGenTel). (NextGenTel is consolidated in the Telio Group from 1 February 2013.)
