Telio’s NextGenTel will deliver DataNet to TeliaSonera’s WAN in Norway

NextGenTel has received the assignment to deliver fiber to all of TeliaSonera’s locations in Norway, including the NetCom shops. The new fiber VPN will be fully implemented during Q1 2014 covering approximately 65 locations, whereof 60 are located at the largest shopping centers in Norway. The contract has a 5 year term.

As a consequence of this contract, NextGenTel can reach up to five thousand customer locations with fiber, whereof almost thousand are existing NextGenTel customers. For these locations, NextGenTel can offer fiber at highly competitive terms. With this contract, NextGenTel further strengthens its position within the retail stores segment. The company currently provides broadband accesses to twenty thousand businesses making NextGenTel one of the largest players within broadband to retail stores in Norway.
